Educational Qualifications —
- Qualifications for Welfare Officer:
- Post Graduate Degree/Diploma in Social Service/Social Welfare/Social Work/Sociology/Psychology from a recognized University/Institution or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years of regular service in Level-6 of the pay matrix (PB-2 Rs.9300-34800 with GP Rs. 4200/-(pre-revised)) or 8 years of regular service in posts in the same pay scale.
- Relevant experience in a responsible capacity in Social Work in a government department or a recognized Voluntary Social Welfare organization.
- Qualifications for Junior Analyst:
- Degree from a recognized university or equivalent.
- Holding analogous posts in Level-7 of the pay matrix (PB-2 Rs.9300-34800 with GP Rs.4600/-(pre-revised)), or
- Minimum 5 years of service in the post in Level-6 of the same pay scale, or
- Minimum 8 years of service in the post in Level-6 of the pay matrix (PB-2 Rs.9300-34800 with GP Rs. 4200/-(pre-revised)).
- Completion of, or eligibility for, the advanced management service course from the Institute of Work Study or a comparable training program from a recognized institution.
