Post Name– 

• Cargo Operations Officer

IndiGo Job Responsibility:–

• Conduct cargo operations in compliance with applicable regulations and standards.
• Ensure proper packaging, marking, and weight on cargo before acceptance.
• Manifest cargo as per sales planning.
• Ensure proper dispatch of cargo from the warehouse with all necessary documents.
• Generate and maintain accurate documentation and reports.
• Organize cargo segregation and trolley preparation for flights.
• Oversee the loading and unloading of cargo from aircraft.
• Forward relevant messages to various cargo destinations and manage documents.
• Handle incoming cargo, segregate it, and ensure proper delivery to consignees.
• Perform daily maintenance tasks on equipment.
• Collaborate with customs, AAI (Airports Authority of India), and CUT (Cargo Unit Terminal) operators to meet government regulations.
• Issue carting orders for export cargo and delivery orders addressed to Customs.
• Book and reserve shipments on the computer system.
• Verify and accept cargo while checking rates and volume.
• Ensure correct issuance of Airway bills by Cargo Agents.
• Issue Airway bills on behalf of assigned products, if required.
• Supervise ground handling staff’s activities on the ramp.
• Oversee loader work to ensure compliance with prescribed procedures.
• Maintain and ensure the safety standards of ground support equipment.
• Keep all assets clean and in serviceable condition.
• Adhere to safety, security, and SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) for cargo operations.
• Follow safety responsibilities and accountabilities as per IndiGo’s SMS (Safety Management System) Manual and Safety Policy.

• A graduate degree from any stream.
