This year, there has been a significant increase in the number of students who have enrolled for the board exams as compared to the previous years. According to the data released by the board, a total of 31,16,487 students have appeared for the class 10 board exams this year. As a comparison, in the year 2022, a total of 27,20,734 students appeared for the high school examination, out of which 23,99,143 students passed the examination. This was 88.18 percent of the total percentage, with 91.69 percent of girls and 85.25 percent of boys passing.
Interestingly, the percentage of students passing in 2021 has been the highest percentage so far. A total of 29,82,055 students appeared for the high school examination that year, out of which 99.53 percent students i.e. 29,68,039 students were successful, marking the highest percentage of successful students so far. In this, 99.55 percent of girls and 99.52 percent of boys have been successful.
